Kiwanis-Soroptimist is partnered with Purpose Driven Development as Development and Financing Lead. The team brings decades of development expertise across private, public and nonprofit sectors.

Non-profit housing partnership

Purpose Driven Development and Soroptimist International of Vancouver are partners on Soroptimist House, affordable homes for women on West 13th Avenue.

Funding

Funding and financing partners

Kiwanis-Soroptimist and Purpose Driven Development have secured funding and financing from Vancity Community Foundation, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, CMHC, Vancity Credit Union and BC Housing. These commitments support feasibility and successive stages of development as the project advances.

The City of Vancouver approved the rezoning of 8080 Yukon Street and enacted the Housing Agreement By-law for the site.
